Our Algiers mirror is a stately piece standing 1.5 meters high. It gives a nod all things regal from the Dutch colonial era and their adventures in the far east.

“The symbolism of pineapples as a symbol of wealth and hospitality can be traced back to the colonial era. During this time, pineapples were considered a luxury item and were often used to entertain guests. They were also used to signal that the homeowner was a person of wealth and status.”

Hand carved from plantation grown mango timber and finished in either gold leaf paint or our signature mug grey which pairs back will our timber and rattan collections.
